Had a group birthday celebration in the Abandoned Carnival escape room. It was a fun activity that provided tons of fun for all. There was some screaming and lots of laughs. Great activity for families and groups.

What a fun and thrilling team building experience! We had our corporate outing at Lock & Key with 20 of our employees. Alex helped make sure booking was a breeze. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to bond outside of the office. HUGE thanks to all the staff at Lock and Key, Edina!!

This was our first time doing an escape room and we chose the Abandoned Carnival. We had an absolute blast with the room, from the very beginning walking in, the introduction, the interactions with our room mod and then afterwards, everything was 5 stars! Also, if you're ever in need of another employee, we would all be interested in watching others do these rooms haha!!!Will definitely be back!!

Exactly what I envisioned. They accommodated my specific requests of heightened mental torture and abuse. They even were willing to include physical elements to the experience such as punching, slapping, and repeated blows. 10/10!!!!!

Great escape room! Fantastic and unique puzzles, great hosts, strong storyline and supporting content. Great way to spend an hour. Our group of 4 was able to complete the Impossible Mission room with some timely hints. It was challenging but definitely doable.

I very rarely leave reviews but this place absolutely deserves it! We have now done all 3 rooms and they are all incredible. Carnival was definitely the most fun both puzzles and theme wise for us but that is in no way talking down to the other two rooms all of which I would absolutely recommend. Beyond just the rooms all of the staff here I have interacted with is incredible. It’s clear that they care deeply about their games and guests as well as escape rooms in general which makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Truly can not recommend enough

Loved the place. It was a wonderful team experience solving the puzzles and moving forward. The puzzles are of varying difficulty, so you really need all people in the group to pitch in. Staff was just amazing and added to the fun. Very helpful too if you get totally stuck. Would love to visit again.

I have done a lot of escape rooms and I would say this one is the best one I've done in the Twin Cities! The props/decor is outstanding and they have fun themes. The employees truly seem to care and love what they do. Very friendly and helpful staff and very accommodating to our group of teens.

The experience was great! The staff was friendly and supportive of how much help you wanted to receive throughout. The puzzles were great! The dynamics of shifting back and forth to solve puzzles were fun good to keep you on your toes! The storyline was thrilling to follow!

My group and I took on Utopia and had a wonderful time. The room itself provided a nice blend of engagement and an unique quality that provided a new challenge relative to other escape rooms in the metro. The staff was equally as welcoming, allowing us to solve everything on our own but were open to be of assistance if needed. They deserve all the praise and recommendations

1st escape room experience for me but in a group with some veteran escapers. All agreed that it was a fun and memorable experience. The Abandoned Carnival theme was funny and clever and engaging and our host was perfect.Highly recommend and I’ll be going back!

This spot was amazing! We had so much fun! The host was so friendly and helpful. He had a big personality! We did the abandoned carnival one of the better rooms we have experienced. We are an avid escape room family in the metro area. We highly recommend this one!

Four of my friends and I took on the Utopia escape room in October 2023.I give the overall experience a solid A. We didn't do especially well, but, in retrospect, the puzzles were fair and soluble with a bit more insight.There was only one puzzle that required significant dexterous manipulation, and we missed out on actually having to complete it. That's our fault, though, and I think it would have very enjoyable.

We did two in one day and they were, by far, the most interactive and fun escape rooms I’ve ever done. The clues were challenging, but fun. The game hosts were incredible and immersive. I would highly recommend this place!

I played the carnival escape room and it was a truly wonderful experience. I went with two friends who both worked at escape rooms and are trying to go to every escape room in Minnesota and they said that this and Utopia were some of the best escape rooms they’ve been to, i dont have too much to compare it to since I’ve only done 3 escape rooms but we had an absolute blast! The storytelling was absolutely wonderfully done and the puzzles were wonderfully designed. Our instructor for the evening was an absolute delight, I am terrible with names but we had a wonderful chat afterwards about his experience running escape rooms and about mechanisms we were curious about in the room. It was such fun! Highly reccomend this wonderful escape room.

Alex was our guide and he created such a fun environment for all of us!!! Our group consisted of ages 11 to 67 and we all were part of the team! Great experience for every single one of us! We will be back!!! Side note we made it out of the room with 44 seconds left with NO CLUES!!!

It was a crazy holiday season, but I am so glad we took the opportunity to bring our family to Lock and Key Escape Rooms. Our task? To get our names back on Santa’s nice list!!!! Most of us hadn’t been to an escape room before, but that didn’t prevent us from having a blast trying to figure out each little puzzle. They kept us on task with an entertaining and clue-filled story where we definitely found some new perspective. Thank you Tony and Alex! We’ll be back!

We've done quite a few escape rooms now and this was hands down the best! The puzzles are intricate and well thought out. Highly recommend this place. We also had three people in our group who had never done an escape room and they also had a blast.

We went with a group of six and had a great time! Lots of cool puzzles and riddles to keep us all engaged. We made it out in 48 minutes �Although they are closing their current location (building being torn down), they are hoping to open soon in the nearby area. Great hosts!! Definitely recommend!

Our entire group had a great time here! The puzzles ranged in difficulty so that everyone could feel they were a part of solving the room. We were amazed at the intricacy of the different parts, and it was so very well done! The gentleman who was working there seemed as genuinely excited for us to be there as if it was his first day showing someone the puzzle room. He explained things very well ahead of time, and was energetic and authentic. We will definitely be going to some of their other puzzle rooms when they open this summer!
